European Fund Administration S.A. (EFA) is an independent company servicing all types of investment vehicles, including private equity, real estate, hedge funds and funds of hedge funds as well unit-linked insurance products. EFA is one of the leaders of the outsourcing market in Luxembourg, Europe’s largest fund center. Universal Investment Group and the shareholders of EFA jointly announced on 12 April 2022 that they have entered into an agreement for the acquisition of EFA by Universal Investment Group. The transaction is subject to regulatory clearance by the Luxembourg financial authority CSSF and is expected to be completed in the 2nd half of 2022.
